Robert Allison – Missouri
Born in the deep south but raised since a teen in Missouri, Robert Allison is a self-taught artist who calls his style "flamboyant
common sense." His art reflects the divergences of a long career in business and degrees in both English and the sciences.
Allison feels he finds a "new way to make the paint behave" almost every day and looks for that perfect harmony that makes
colors "sing together."

Sloane Bibb – Athens, AL
Sloane Bibb successfully mixes work as an advertising creative director with the creation of stunning mixed media fine art.
He incorporates elements of pop culture into an array of materials such as paint, metal, wood and wax to create a rich and
textural environment. Bibb earned a bachelors degree in fine arts from Auburn University and applies his graphic design skill
at Mindvolt ad agency.

Bruce Wilcox Braithwaite – Princeton, NJ
Born in 1950 in Manchester, England, realist painter Bruce Wilcox Braithwaite relocated to August, Georgia, in 1970. Earning
a degree in visual arts from Georgia State University, he began a career in commercial design and illustration. In 1985, Braithwaite
broke from commercial design and created over sixty landscapes and figurative oil paintings capturing rural southwest Georgia
and Cumberland Island National Park. Now living near Princeton, New Jersey, he paints city and rural scenes in the northeast
and has instructed at Mercer Community College.

Jean Brunty – Nashville
Often blending realism with just a touch of impressionism, Jean’s watercolors and oils reflect her love of nature and
sense of place with special attention to detail and color. A native of West Virginia, the beauty of her Appalachia inspires
her work. She is a member of: National Museum of Women in the Arts, Appalachia Artist Association, West Virginia Watercolor
Society and numerous other professional organizations.

John R. Cherry III -– Franklin
Nashville native John Cherry trained at the prestigious Ringling School of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida in the 1960’s.
He later became partner and creative head of Carden and Cherry Advertising Agency. After developing the nationally acclaimed
character of “Ernest P. Worrell,” he wrote, directed and/or produced eleven feature films and five television
shows. His works in oil, acrylic and watercolor reflect places that he loves and, sometimes, his unique humor.

Peggy Beulieu Corthouts – Coaldale, CO
Peggy Corthouts was born in 1959 in Coventry, Connecticut. In 1983, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in printmaking
from Arizona State University, where she had studied under Wayne Kimball, a master printer from the famed Tamarind Atelier.Corthouts
is known as a printmaker of remarkable skill and sensitivity. Her beautiful landscapes are contemporary, yet possess a softness
and quality of light reminiscent of the Impressionistic Period. In 1990, Corthouts moved her studio to a small mountain town
nestled in the Rocky Mountains. Her work is featured in corporate and private collections throughout the country.

Ann DerGara – Greenville, SC
Ann DerGara approaches her art with a lifelong passion. Born to Norwegian-German parents who nurtured her creative abilities,
the South Carolina native sold her first painting five years prior to beginning her formal education at George State University.
A 1978 printmaking course at Atlanta College of Art led her to Dick Williams and the innovative contemporary Odyssey Studio.
Her mastery of the art of printmaking is described as remarkable, yet painting remains DerGara’s first love. Her brilliant
use of color brings her growing international acclaim.

Tom Fuhrman – Woodbury
Tom began working in glass in 1974, just a few years after receiving his bachelor's degree in industrial design from the Illinois
Institute of Technology. He has received numerous corporate and organizational awards. His pieces can be found in permanent
collections at the White House, Tennessee State Museum, and other museums, as well as in private collections. His laminated
glass and granite fountains, called Phantasmagoria, can be seen at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville.

Robert J. Garlock -– Nashville
Robert earned his degree from Yale University, where he studied with Josef Albers, pioneering Bauhaus artist and educator.
He also attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and studied portraiture with award-winning artist Edmond J. Fitzgerald. Prior
to returning to painting in Nashville, Robert worked in book publishing in Chicago and Nashville. In his works, he favors
landscapes which capture the "feel" of each place depicted.
