Dawn
describes each unique piece of her jewelry as wearable art. Fused glass,
lampwork, stones and minerals, pearls, glass beads and crystals are among the
components that form the architecture of each piece. Metalsmith work and
wire wrapping in sterling silver provides texture and polish to many of the
pieces. Forging and soldering processes complete much of the
fabrication. She has studied art formally at universities in Montana and
California.

Susan
Rogers – OhioSusan Rogers blends the best
parts of antique jewelry with
modern wear-ability. She grew up in Nashville and took art classes while
earning her engineering degree from Vanderbilt. After years working as a
“future model design engineer” at Ford Motor Company and then having her first
son, Rogers began pursuing her passion for the history and fabrication of
antique jewelry. Her collection proved that older pieces often are destructive
to modern clothing. So she studied metalsmithing and beading to create jewelry
designs that preserve the look and value of the antique pieces incorporated.

Gallery
owner Ruthie Cherry’s exquisite taste has been recognized throughout her
career. After decades of finding and effectively using the best in art and
graphic design in both advertising and architecture, she began her own business
as an art consultant in 2002. Two years later she opened Ruthie Cherry Fine
Art, filling the gallery with the finest works from local artists. Now she is
applying her natural talent and good taste to the creation of original jewelry
pieces, studying under the careful tutelage of jewelry designer Dawn Neumann.
